Black Hollow: three days to launch
A fresh look at Black Hollow on Steam, a free single-player demo, and a thank-you before October 30.

The countdown is on
Three days to go. Black Hollow is planned to launch on Steam on October 30, 2026. Before that happens, I wanted to give these updates a proper home: a place to share what’s changing, explain the games, and keep useful information easy to find.
A clearer look at Black Hollow
The Steam page has refreshed artwork and a more varied gameplay gallery. If you last looked a while ago, take another look at the environments and encounters rather than just the cover art. The image above is captured gameplay from Mournwater, not a concept painting.
Black Hollow is a first-person dark-fantasy horde-survival roguelite. The full game supports solo play or up to four-player online co-op. The free demo is single-player: a way to get a feel for the combat and atmosphere before deciding whether to wishlist the full game.
Thanks for being here
If you’ve tried the demo, shared a clip, or taken a moment to check out the game, thank you. It means a lot to a solo developer. I’d love to hear which part catches your eye: the setting, the combat, or finding a build that clicks.
This devlog will collect public development updates and closer looks at Black Hollow and Plague Doctor: Apothecary. Not every entry will be a patch announcement—sometimes it will simply be a useful look at how a game plays.
